Every single time i have come to the store during opening hours for a store credit return that i was promised over the phone, the place is shut, its currently 1.52pm on a sunday arvo and there trading hours are until 330pm. I tried coming on the sunday prior at 1pm and they were also shut, when displaying 330pm close, and 1230 pm on a saturday but cant recall if it was in the same weekend or seperate week. How are they meant to do business when there never open and not open on the displayed times this is just frustrating and starting to get concerned

Good Prices on ring only slighty above spot price, which is well respected :)
Everything in the store is ridiculously over priced. In many cases, they charge more for the item than it is brand new. Power tools are one example, chainsaws, Archery equip was litteraly double the price of brand new for identical products. There is actually somthing wrong with you if you buy from here a second hand, overpriced, under warranted item. Staff become agressive when you ask them why they charge more than what item is new. 10-15years ago, this place was awsome.
I came in to sell a ring because unfortunately we have had a death in the family. They said they could only do 400 & I had asked could they do better because I have a funeral to go to. With a sigh & eyeroll they said no because they got to many after Christmas & to try again in a few months. Really? Because I have a few to spare!! Some people honestly. You don’t know what people go through on a daily basis.
On display was a vintage 35mm film camera with the tag reading "checked." When I asked, this meant the item had been checked and was working. I asked to inspect the camera and found the original mercury battery was still inside. Battery fell apart like powder as I opened the cap but the battery's label was still readable. "checked and working?" I asked.. Again I was told yes. This camera folks was a 1969 yashica electro with a steep price tag, and the mercury battery was discontinued in the early 90s. That camera had not been used in over 20 years but I was told it was checked and working. Don't believe the labels, don't believe the staff. Know the item you are inspecting well and walk away if you're not permitted a thorough examination.
That creepy guy with the beard breathes down my neck when I'm looking at video games to buy for my kids. I tell him I'll call him when I'm ready but he stands in my personal space so he doesn't miss out on the commission. I usually intend to buy 4 or 5 games but I either buy 1 or just leave because he makes me feel so uncomfortable. I went there the other day and just walked straight out when I saw he was there. CREEEEPY!
horrible to pawn items to if you're looking to declutter & get a bit of cash. I had some old gameboy games, bnib playstation headset & other gaming items. Refused all of it, no value as the arrogant short guy who is constantly there behind the desk (at least on the weekends when I went) says. Ended up selling online for decent price just had to be patient. This place has watched one too many pawn reality shows, only want the best items for selling & most of their items end up sitting there for ages. Go to other cash converters like blacktown or mt druitt where they will gladly take most items & they'd actually have better items because of it. Nothing but snobs here especially the guy behind the desk where you sell/loan to.
