What an absolute awesome experience. Elija (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was an awesome host and guide full of lots of enthusiasm and knowledge. He certainly shows how much he loves his job of he’s a fantastic actor. While there were only a few seals out there was some great wildlife and stunning views of the rocks and coves. The best seemed to be saved for last as we came across a huge pod of Dolphins on the way back, including a few baby dolphins that certainly did their best to show off. A great experience and I only wish I had a chance to join one of the swim safaris while I’m here.

I was lucky enough to win an island safari cruise for 2 on a radio competition and WOW... this was the absolute highlight of my weekend on KI. We were blessed with the weather, beautiful dolphins who came to greet us and the most lovely, knowledgeable and friendly tour guide... Elija (hope I spelt that right). If you only get to do one special thing on KI then this is a must.
If you're a first timer in KI, the Dolphin Cruise is a must. Staff here is really friendly and are happy to answer your queries. We were lucky to see a lot of Dolphins. The ride was really fun. Highly recommended.
During December holidays we spent a week in KI. Ocean Safari was one of the tours we did. Had an AMAZING experience. Had the weather been better we would have done a snorkelling tour as well. Gained so much knowledge about Dolphins. Will highly recommend this to anyone visiting KI.
We did the 75 minute boat tour today and it was fantastic. Elijah was great, fun and very informative about the island and the tour. We was lucky to find the dolphins today and got to spend plenty of time taking videos and pictures. Would recommend this tour to anyone new to the island. Beautiful clear seas, cute little animals and a friendly tour guide.
The snorkelling safari was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend this tour! To be able to get so close these inquisitive and playful creatures, without disturbing their natural habitat, and swim with them is absolutely magical. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun, they made this trip an unforgettable experience.
The most obvious negative was that the ladder to get back into the boat was too short. I really struggled and ended up with some impressive bruising on my legs. So please extend the length of the ladder. The tour itself was handled quite well.
It was a great opportunity to visit an area and experience animals in the wild, whilst receiving an interesting commentary from our guide on not just the local wildlife of that particular area but also the history of the coastline and its impact on the history of Kangaroo Island. Thanks mate for your commentary and the great ride, thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Keith
