Been coming to the phantom zone for years. Friendly staff, good selection. It's a classic comic book shop. Their best feature though is the mail out standing order. That way you can subscribe to your favourite comic books and get them mailed to you each month. Definitely reccomend.

I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, though it took sometime before we were given assistance. If you want to foster young readers of your products, it is probably best to learn how to sell them to a younger audience. Unfortunately, Phantom Zone caters for those of us who have been reading comics for decades and has little appeal to new readers who are just coming to the age where they're interested in comic books.
Walked in as a newcomer to comics, the staff were friendly and knew their stuff. The selection was great, so much more to explore. Thanks Guys!
I found this place for the first time a few weeks back. I only got in about 5-10 minutes before the places closed yet Ice was very friendly and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!
This was the first official comic store I have been to. It has a very good selection of comics and good price. The service is also quite welcoming.
Interesting place, but probably somewhere you would find what you want and then die of shock when you compare the items to the same tho g on eBay. (Yeah, they are going to leave a big hole in your wallet if you buy something here).
I don't know much about comics myself, but the staff have been really friendly in helping me set up a subscription for my son. The place also seems to have a good selection available.
I went into Phantom Zone as a new collector looking to get started with comics. First of all, the staff member was really polite and helpful and was happy to answer any questions I had. In terms of prices, they were quite competitive with the few other stores in the Sydney area (I checked, Phantom Zone definitely prices their inventory well). Finally, in terms of the condition of their stock, every single comic issue I saw and bought was as close to new (or mint condition) as I think it gets. Overall, I'm very impressed and encourage others to check Phantom Zone out. We don't have many decent comic stores in Australia, especially ones that aren't overflowing with too much merchandising, so places like Phantom Zone that retain their main objective of selling comics (and selling them well) should be supported.
