The Lancer Barracks museum is located on Smith Street in the Parramatta CBD which opposite Parramatta Railway. It is a historic stone building that displays many photographs, maps and documentary about the war. It is a historic military facility of WWII 1939 - 1945 and posts WWII 1945 - present day. I really enjoy learning about war history. The place is not so far from the city. Fee administration.

Isabelle was really helpful and knew heaps of knowledge of the lancer barracks. The price didnt do the tour justice as it held great artifacts and the Tanks were interesting and cool to look at. Definatley recommend this place for those who are in to learning about the war and its materials. 2 Thumbs up
There today, thank you miss Twist ,such an enjoyable day
Stumbled upon this state heritage listed site last week when I saw the poster on the upcoming Remembrance Day celebration in Lancer Barracks. Attended the open day on Oct 28, 2018: I was very impressed with the museum's precious war artefacts and historical information which are all important and significant for the present and future generations of Australians to know and be educated about. As a Malaysian who have studied history in school, Malaysia was invaded by the Japanese during WW2 so I was impressed to see the Japanese artefacts. A Salute to the military volunteers who have done a wonderful job in preserving this historical site.
HIDDEN HISTORY GEM in the heart of Parramatta CBD. Museum is good with tours offered by volunteers. I really liked the tanks, well worth the visit on a Sunday.
