Parramatta, Australia
River Rd W
N/A
It is quite a nice day to float up the Parramatta River. It gets less briny as you go further west. Eventually you come to a weir with a bridge over it. Various fish gather where a stream of fresh water pours. The water here tastes weird as it pushes you around in its turbulence. You can go no further. There is no vegetation in this spot, not even clinging to the concrete structures. Occasionally the ferry comes up and churns up plumes of silt while it changes direction. The fish disappear. But they come back later. The cormorant watches for them, but does not act. – Jellyfish
