Great spot, nice and relaxing place to get away from it all. Lots of wildlife and the Gorge walk is well worth it.

The apartment really is in an abhorrent state, falling apart in total disrepair and not even remotely clean. Yuck

Clean tidy and well presented. Ocean view better than expected considering we booked partial ocean views. Would recommend checking if unit is Air Conditioned during summer period. Great convenience having a restaurant with great food and views of the ocean and a full cocktail bar.

Great place to stay, you have everything you need from dishwasher to washing machine and dryer. Bedrooms are downstairs and living area upstairs with kitchen no need to bring anything at all it's all there. Tv and DVD, hire of DVDs for trent for those rainy days. Great verandah including a Bbq.outside table upstairs and downstairs. Pool is nice ,tennis court and game area including ping pong table and a small gym.Would suit a couple get away to family holiday. It was good to see that you have 1 undercover parking spot available and if needed you can also park in the visitor area. We were 6 bedrooms good size and nice and clean. The only down for us was in high season you have to be out by 9am. Tried to ask if we could stay a bit longer as when you are 6 people by the time everyone has a shower and time to get organised is lengthy, but reception would not budge.Would recomend Pandanus as all in all great experience. Even on a rainy day the view is great

Villa very in need of an upgrade! Furniture very uncomfortable and out dated as was the bed- very difficult to sleep on and ended up having to check out a night early as my husbands back was suffering. "shutters" in the bedroom and lounge room let in so much light and don't even close properly. The out door furniture was ratty and damaged. The two chairs on the main bedroom balcony should have been thrown out years ago- there was no padding and the middle was falling through. The bed spread had multiple stains on it- I'm sure it had been washed but obviously very old and in need of an upgrade. The extra blanket in the upstairs cupboard was very stained and smelled awful- I doubt that had ever been washed. Although we appreciate the starter pack of the bare basics, for a "resort" we expected a little more such as toilet paper, cleaning products and sugar sachets however were told we would have to purchase more from reception or from the local shop even though we were only staying 3 days. The "free wifi" is actually only free for 1 hour a day and thats if it will even reach your room. It NEVER came up on our wifi options. As we were leaving a day early, I ended up dusting the tables for them as it looked as though it had not been done in weeks- we were there for TWO DAYS!! Lastly, the restaurant at the "resort" advertised on their site and in their guest book is actually completely closed as you will only find out by a small sign on the restaurants entrance. Pros: Absolutely beautiful view from the ocean view villas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Straddie is a stunning place with amazing beaches and walks. Cons: Experience tarnished by feeling like the resort was trying to save cents rather than think about the guest experience.

UNIT 15. Very old and outdated dwelling. Main bed was awful, pillows equally uncomfortable. The couch was purchased possibly around 1960. Not very pleasant and not comfortable. No where near worth 200 a night. Positives: white good were great, very handy location to shops/beaches. Shower (although old) had great shower pressure. Comes with a bbq and gas which we thought was brilliant. Would return to Stradebroke, wont return here.

Villa was quite spacious and comfortable. Interior wasn't new but it was clean & well maintained. On the other hand, I was disappointed in the view. The photos on the site must have been taken from villas in the front row. One could see the water from our villa but it was through a gap between buildings & then only from the (upstairs) main bedroom. Also, as others have noted, the Internet is poor. Basically you only get, at most, 1 hour of access. Seems just mean really.

Stayed at unit 5, ocean view. Had only partial ocean view, but it was incredible. Helpful staff. Wouldn't recommend to travelers without a car, since there is a huge hill just before the resort. Please check is the whale way restaurant is open during your stay, if not, plan accordingly. The resort offers plenty of additionals to your stay: tênis equipment rental, extra beds, cots, higiene items, and others. Please note that additional costs will be applied if any damaged is made on the sun umbrella or if you leave dirty dishes. Our unit had everything we needed, and it was huge. We had complimentary coffe and tea, as well as toilet paper and dish washing liquid. Woudl recommende to families and couples that own a car. Our stay ws relaxing and calm, no noisy neighbors or anything.
