My 11yr old daughter has been going to Jaanz singing school since 2017, we think the school is great and if you’re serious about singing and creating opportunities, you should definitely give it a try.

I cannot recommend Jaanz highly enough. This is by far the most supportive, inspiring and encouraging singing school I have ever had the privilege of being a part of. Tegan is the most patient and humble teacher and goes out of her way to make sure her students succeed in everything they do. She goes above and beyond for each and every student, making sure that they are the very best that they can be. It's not just somewhere you can go for lessons every now and then. It's so much more than that. It's also about finding yourself as well as finding who you are as an artist, building on the strengths you already have, and working hard on what you're not so strong at. I have had so many valuable lessons at Jaanz and I have done so with not only the support of the greatest teacher in history, but also the support of every other student that attends Jaanz. It's not just a weekly lesson for me. It's a way of life.
I have been a student at the gold coast studio for nearly a year now and I love the emphasis on feeling relaxed and connecting emotionally with the music.
I love that David Jaanz School of Singing leads by example!! David and all his teaching staff are incredible vocalists themselves. The instructions they give are clear & with direct purpose to what each individual student is needing to further their personal development. (They actually make sense!!) The Jaanz teachers work personally with you to make you feel free & safe to explore your vocal stylings and play around with finding yourself as an artist. (They don't put you in a box - they inspire you to break free of it) They give examples through out class and join you in zoning ( Free singing/harmonising around the piano) - such a beautiful experience to let go & connect soulfully with your voice using David's "Emotion centred singing approach". For me honestly this is where the magic happens!!! My Teacher is Tegan @ the Brisbane Studio & I too can not recommend her highly enough!! She's cool, down to earth, super open & an incredible singer herself !! (Go check out one of her gigs!) I am working on being able to open up & share my voice with others & over the years have tried so many vocal coaches only ever to go along to 1 or 2 lessons... I have now been with Teegs for over 6 months and have learnt so much! There is no judgement at Jaanz!! Its honestly so much fun!! Oh & if you can go on the yearly Singing Camp! Do it!!!!! For me it was one of the best experiences sharing my love of music & singing with over 200 other passionate vocalists & musicians :)
