Frequent shopper and love all the stock; been going for years however the customer service is passive aggressive. Just had a phone call asking a question regarding an order I had coming in and received some of the shortest, dryers responses I’ve ever had. I get retail not being the most fun industry to be in but I’m definitely appalled by the woman’s tone. Great store otherwise
Extremely poor and passive aggressive customer service, incredibly unorganised. I had called Oxley Officeworks on a Thursday to track my print order that I had ordered on a Sunday and was due to be ready on Wednesday. I hadn’t received any notification regarding its status. I had to wait 10 minutes on the phone before someone picked up. I was then immediately transferred to someone else, where I spent a further 10 minutes on hold with no answer. I hung up and dialled again, waiting 5 minutes before the store called me back to let me know that I would receive a call back when they were less busy. This is totally fair, I also work in retail, so I understood. It is now Monday following and I hadn’t received call. Called again today and the line went dead twice after directing me to my desired department. Called a third time and was answered. After giving my details to the retail assistant, he proceeded to tell me that my order had been sent on the 9th and I should have received it already. I put my order down as a Click and Collect order, so it should not have been sent to my address. After explaining this and the fact that I had received no notification of such happening, he then proceeded to the tell me he had sent an email and if I hadn’t received it, something on my end was wrong. He said that my order was ready to be picked up today, which left me confused as he had just told me the document was sent to my address. Before I could clarify, he abruptly hung up on me. I’m very disappointed with the service I’ve received thus far and am hoping that my order is actually at the store as I need to drive 30 minutes to pick it up. I was also needing the order before Thursday, so I’m quite upset that I didn’t receive notification to pick it up and/or it hadn’t been fulfilled yet.
Absolutely discussed with the customer service, I called the Oxley store on Saturday morning, I called 18 times and not one person picked up my call. I called the Ipswich site only to be told they are renouned for not answering the phone, I asked the guy at the Ipswich store if I can change my click & collect to Ipswich and he advised I would have to call customer service, I did call them on Saturday only to hear that they are only open Monday to Friday, you would think the Ipswich store would let me know that. I called again on Sunday as soon as they opened only to be told she couldn't help me and to call customer service, Called customer service on Monday only to be told can't help me and just wait for my order to hit the store. There is absolutely no care factor in the 3 phone calls I had with the staff. Management maybe you need new staff or start training the existing staff. I will never shop nor recommend Office works to anyone. I wish I read there google reviews before I purchase my order.
According to your website the printer i wanted wasn't in stock anywhere, not even available online. First office works I walk into and it's sitting on the shelf. Would have been 5stars but minus 2 for poor website accuracy.
Poor customer service. I was going to print a simple one page document however the self-service machine couldn't recognize my hard drive. I asked for help from the lady at the front desk where they could print out via their PC which I did before. Then she refused to help me as she was saying that I need to be booked in first. I explained to her that I need that document in emergency and it would only take 20s to print it out. However the answer is still NO. Very bad experience and they were not that busy. Won't come back again.
Very friendly and helpful staff especially the lady at the printing desk who laminated my maps. I didn't catch her name. But she was very nice. However the Laminate turned out to be not that good of quality. Gets air bubbles in it very easily.
Staff on the doors staff running around staff stocking the shelves but no staff to help you or to serve you remember this it's the customers who pay your wages please do your jobs you bunch of imberciels thankyou
