I ordered through Deliveroo -prawn nigiri & prawn fashion sandwich (I ate one of each before taking this photo) They gave me cute little avocado rolls as a bonus! And included all condiments Can’t wait to order again
By far the best sushi I have ever eaten. Super fresh, unlike some other places they have brown rice too, and it's just right. The owners and staff are very pleasant and friendly. It feels like my second dining room. Thank you!
20 for overpriced, small and bland sushi. Ordered a raw tuna maki and a rainbow maki. Tuna maki had the tiniest amount of tuna in it, all you could taste was rice. Even putting a bit of mayonnaise or something to stop it from tasting so dry and bland really could have gone a long way. The rainbow maki was a bit better, the fish and avocado was fresh. But still tiny and needed some type of sauce as it was also dry. Not worth it sadly :(
The chicken katsu curry had no curry in it. It’s basically all rice. There is a small amount of curry that they put on top which does nothing but make the chicken soggy. The sushi was ok only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1. Probably the worst Katsu curry I’ve had
Delicious sushi, I can always count on them to make me a fresh roll when they have ran out of my favourites, they also do great takeaway and and super quick and delicious. I hope this place stays open because it’s the only one in Ormond and it so cute as it’s a family business and I can always rely on them to make great sushi
Ordered deliveroo from here about an hour ago I had sashimi, rainbow maki, potato croquet, takoyaki & tatsuta age. Time it took between placing order and delivery was great. The sashimi and naki where good. The reason for the 3 star is for the rest of the hot food. The food was cold when it arrived and the takoyaki and tatsuta age was very chewy and the tatsuta age looked burnt age it was very chewy and dry. Sadly I could finish the tatsuta age and the takoyaki. Sorry to say this but I won't be re ordering from here I was a first time customer who loves Japanese food. Sorry but you have missed out on what could have been a good customer..
Unfortunately not a great experience. I have eaten their food both in-house and takeaway in the past with no issues, but they seem to have dropped the ball... 1. Difficult communication placing an order on the phone. 2. Salmon Avo sushi was only salmon :( 3. No wasabi or ginger with the sushi. In the current covid-climate where takeaway or delivery is the only option for this business to keep trading, I assumed they would take extra care to ensure orders were correct. I will be seeking alternative sushi options in the future.
