The old guy with white hair is impossible to deal with (guessing he’s the owner).. tries to hit you with the high pressure sales tactic every time but has no idea how to communicate with people, definitely shouldn’t be in retail. I’ve given this business waaaaaay too many chances and it really makes me mad because this is a local for me and hate having to drive all the way to Coorparoo (tackle warehouse) just to have to buy a few small things. I get this is a really small business with limited accounts but come on!!! At least make an effort to help us out and offer to order things in you don’t have in stock instead of talking down on everything you don’t carry on hand. I’m literally trying to give you money and support my local but this guy just rubs me the wrong way.. I’m not the only one. I’ve walked out of this shop multiple times over the past few years feeling completely insulted. Positives; they open early (sometimes) and most of the bait is decent. Cheap bulk ice. Also, all of the other staff I have encountered have been very helpful.

I would have given a zero star if google allows me to do so. Owner didn't make us(my self and my Asian friends) feel welcome at all. In fact the attitude was v poor. We felt pressured if we didn't buy anything from him. I understand its tough to run a business as a business owner myself, I understand that not all clients will buy from you. However in the service industry, all clients needs to be respected, even if they do not buy from you!
