Friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. Cheeseburger didn't have bacon on it (as ordered) and was smaller than expected but still tasted great (scrumptious homemade flavour). Hot chips were a great size serving and were hot and crispy on outside, fluffy on inside perfection! Snack box with chicken, sweet chilli and garlic sauce was also delicious and huge serving size. Next time we are back on that side of town, we will be back
The name of the shop is different now. They put a lot of sauce on the kebabs and on the HSP, and they put a lot of meat on them! It's very tasty and the staff are very friendly, I love this place. I recommend everyone to go there!
I guess all good things have to come to an end. It was good when they had fish and chips and different owners. Since the new owners have taken over they've turned it into just a kebab shop cause we don't need more of those on the Gold Coast. And the kebabs aren't even that great, they offer mixee or chicken and try and tell you that you can't get just lamb or beef kebabs in Qld. Their lettuce has got to be the worst Ive had in a while. They used to have indoor seating but have since turned it into a lounge room for his kids. This was a 5 star before old mate took it over.
I placed an Uber Eats order for a snack pack, I specifically requested no cheese due to a food allergy. After having a mouthful I realised my request for no cheese had been deliberately ignored. The cheese was underneath the top layer of fillings so it had appeared safe to eat. The staff don’t seem to take food allergies seriously, I will be reporting this incident to Queensland Health.
“Kebab Genie”is the new name of takeaway under new management. Worst small sloppy fish burger I had in my life for 16. Took a couple of bites and couldn’t eat any more. Kebab Genie is a NO GO zone for us Lady behind counter was friendly.
