I think it's a nice idea but not for me. A little over the top but these guys are certainly passionate about clean eating. Unfortunately it comes with the associated price premium despite only medium servings. Staff were attentive.

Activated Buckwheat Risotto is for lunch today. Last tome I was here I had pumpkin soup. Sometimes I come here for breakfast. There aren't so many tables and there's no outside seating, but so far so good...
The staff are very nice. I have been to organik lane a few times for coffee. It is a good place to chat, and the coffee and tea is good. Food is ok: 65 for 4 coffee and three brunch items. A lot of super foods and unidentifiable items on the menu, some meat some vegan so a broad selection. One complaint is that they leave the front door open. It is cold at 8 am in Melbourne and on a June day, a 6 degrees wind is uncomfortable. They did close the door when we asked but the door doesn't close itself after people enter.
I was so disappointed with my last visit to this cafe. The menu was limited in comparison with my previous visit and one waitress said we couldn't have anything on the breakfast menu, then another said we could (thankfully we asked a second time). I also wondered if turning on the "doof doof" music later on in the visit was a hint to leave ? Why else would you turn this on so loud when people are eating and obviously wanting to have a conversation? The staff appeared to be more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to their customers.
Been back to Organik Lane a few times and always enjoy the visit!
