This is great place to break a trip on a Hume Highway. There's Big Koala statue in front of Oliver's Real Food entrance. Restaurant is big enough to accommodate 100 ppl. With 50 people in, it looks nice and spacious. There are toilets inside as well. Now menu options. I posted photos of those so make sure you check it out. Good thing is that they offer really numerous options for vegans and vegetarians. There are gluten free options. Lots of other snacks and drinks option available. However, it does seem a bit pricey especially for some drinks and snacks but I guess it works for them since it is a nice spot to stop and apparently they fit in the price range among other restaurants present at the same spot. It is clean and light though and sitting options vary from normal tables to cozy sofa beds. Overall, I do recommend to pay it a visit if you are traveling via Hume Highway. I will post photos of two vegan hot boxes. Now, one drawback is that personnel taking orders not really skilled and informed but there's lady manager very professional and efficient so any mistakes are quickly fixed.

Worst wait I've ever had for a meal on a roadside stop. 35 minutes for my vegetarian burger. Wasn't even busy. The guy cooking looked half asleep. He actually did appear to move faster once an older lady appeared in the kitchen. Thank goodness as I probably would have waited even longer. I like Oliver's but wouldn't go to this one again.
The order was missing several components and didn't have the correct bun on the Peri Peri Burger either. Make sure you check what you are given. When it was remade it was really nice!
Great concept but the service was interminably slow. Everything gave the impression of a place badly managed and understaffed- bins overflowing, dirty tables, untidy displays, etc. We waited 35 minutes for burger and a couple of toasties. The food itself was ok but not good value and certainly not worth the wait. Sorry, we wanted to like this place but it’s just not up to scratch...
Verrry Slooow making food it took 40mins to get some wedges and nuggets, will not stop there again, I am sure the serv next door would be much better.
Perfect place to stop and take a break. The food always makes a great alternative to the traditional fast food options. Coffee the past few visits has been decent too.
I feel sorry for the staff at Oliver's Gundagai. Understaffed with just 4 people on the super busy Thursday night before the Easter long weekend. Ended up waiting over 50 minutes for what is essentially pre-made, re-heated food with a 5 hour-drive ahead of us. Sack the manager and bring in someone who will put on enough staff and put in place efficient but fair systems of multi-tasking for the employees. The staff here need a union.
I really want this chain to service and provide a healthy alternative to the rubbish offered by the other best food alternatives. But really? First, although not busy, service was at glacial speed. It took 28 MINUTES for a vegetarian burger!! And the quality poor
