A stunning location. The beach appears dog and family friendly. Great waves. Very nice clean sand. Huge amount of interesting rocks for kids and adults to marvel at. Come and spend a day. Come and spend a moment. Each will bless you. Old bar itself is a small and beautiful township located on the mid north coast. All the normal issues are important, hat, suncream, water. Bring your own. There is a lively set of takeaway and eatery shops in two small areas birth and south of the beach. And heading by car into the Wallabi point national park is also well Worth it.

Beautiful day Old Bar Beach which is patrolled. Water a bit chilly however; once in it was delightful.
Lots of rocks under the water, need to be careful. Waves can be a little rough for younger kids. But still a lovely beach.
Beautiful place (where I use to live) Call in with lots of cafes and restaurants. Fuel station, bottle shop, doctors, chemist, beach park with public toilets and of course that beautiful beach down the end...
I love going down to the ocean and watch either the sunset or sunrise...
Absolutely disgusting. The amenities are filthy and in disrepair, the grass is a metre long in the park. The council can spend millions on their big Masters purchase and refurbishment yet cannot spend a on any parks or amenities in the whole area. DISGUSTING.
Beautiful beach to swim with shower, toilet and shaded picnic benches
Love sitting and listening to the ocean
