Lisa has been a fantastic help as we have navigated a complex diagnosis with my daughter. There have been many ups and downs which Lisa has not only supported me and my husband through but also our young daughter with education and resources that mean we can ensure a strong foundation for future development. I look forward to our sessions that are always fun, energetic and educational in a way that never feels like we are being lectured. I am confident in helping my daughter strive for her highest potential with the support from Lisa.

I’ve taken my son to Occupational Therapy Helping Children for the past 4 years. The therapy services have been excellent and the care and support that we have gotten from the OT team has been fabulous. Highly recommend.

I found the service at Occupational Therapy Helping Children to be first class. The team were so friendly they made my son feel very comfortable and this made me relaxed and happy that I had made the right decision to come to this Clinic.

Highly professional with a personal approach My son has been benefiting from OTHC's therapy services for the last 3 years. He has a complex diagnosis, with a lot of unknowns, but I felt at ease that OTHC were able to help him. Lisa is our son's therapist and she has boundless amounts of energy and patience to handle whatever comes up in each therapy session. I have complete confidence in the direction and approach that she takes with my son's therapy and development. I have enough to worry about and figure out for him in other aspects of life, so it is good to be able to handover on something. I highly recommend Lisa and her team. They are very approachable. They have a lot of knowledge to draw upon to create the right therapy program for each child. Thanks from one grateful mum.

We had been coming here with our 5 yo daughter for about 12 months. Two weeks ago we got a bcc email from the director Lisa Hughes, explaining that they were changing policies to allow only one cancellation per term, and would now be charging full fees for all other sessions if you cancel more than once. In the same email, she insisted that no sick children, or children with sick siblings, ever be brought to their sessions. So ...get sick twice in one winter, which for most kids in preschool is every winter, they still charge full fees for canceled sessions. We immediately emailed Lisa Hughes regarding our unhappiness with the new policy, and intention to withdraw our daughter. We then missed a call from our OT, but still no response from Lisa Hughes. Cancellations are a problem for every small business, including ours, and everyone else seems to be able to make it work without ripping off clients. Pretty appalling, not only the new policy to charge us without exception if children get sick twice, but after 12 months as clients, for them not to care enough to even bother responding to an email. They make it clear what they do care about... “Helping Children” is a misnomer, this organisation is cash first, kids second.
