We could not be happier with how our floors have turned out under the experienced team at Pj Diamond. The team were extremely thorough with their attention to detail throughout the whole process of removing multiple layers of Lino and Masonite/hardwood board with thousands of staples and nails to refurbishing 40 year old Tasmanian Oak to an absolutely beautiful condition with a modern finish. Peter was also available on call for any questions/queries that arose and completed multiple inspections himself which made us feel we were in safe hands! The photos speak for themselves. I would recommend this team to everyone!

Thank you to Peter and the hard working team! We had our floors redone earlier in the year before moving in, and we have had so many lovely compliments from everyone who has been able to visit since. My photos do not do the floors justice, but we originally had ghosting footprints and deep scratches on our Jarrah floors with a high gloss finish. We then decided to have the floors stained and refinished with a matte/semi matte to match our redecoration style. Could not be happier with the results! Thanks again

Peter and his team sanded and polished the floors in my sister's house, and did a great job, so i didn't hesitate to ask Peter to come and polish our floors when we purchased our new home. He did a great job- the floors look like new again - lighter, brighter and refreshed! Peter's attention to detail was fantastic - he noticed a few spots where the timber had not been properly installed and was able to repair this. We had just had the house freshly painted and so we were very appreciative that Peter and his team took a lot of care not to damage the skirting boards/freshly painted areas. Peter was easy to work with, responsive, courteous and professional, and started and finished on time. We were thrilled with the result - thank you!

I feel compelled to leave a glowing review for Peter and his team. We required a bespoke flooring job in a top floor apartment in East Melbourne and several other tradespeople either refused to quote or didn't agree with what we wanted to accomplish. Peter came out on a Saturday morning and immediately understood our request. We gave them a tight deadline and they delivered on time and on budget. More than that, the team at PJ Diamond were all artisans and cared deeply about every little detail. They were polite to deal with at all times and cleaned up every day before leaving the apartment. I have waited for two years to write this review. Our hardwood floor was installed for only 2 years and there was some moisture buildup underneath the floorboard during the winter which caused the floorboard to expand and bulged upward (see photo below which shown the pen pointed upward on the floor.) Some of the floorboards were broken with the expansion. I have contacted quite a number of contractors to see if this can be fixed but not one contractor reply to me with a quotation as they just didn’t know how to fix the problem. When I did the google search I came across with this website with all the high ratings and favorable reviews for PJ Diamond. Peter came and gave me a very reasonable quote. His team replaced the bulging and broken floorboards, sanded and polished the floor within the agreed time flame. They were professional with very high quality of craftsmanship. The floor is still looking great after two years. I cannot thank Peter and his team enough to restore my home. This is the only company I came across in Melbourne so far which delivers professional work. (P.S. I had two many bad experiences before and hence I appreciate their work very much.)
