A beautiful well maintained old Concert hall. Wooden floors and the smell of days gone by. We sat and watched a graduation ceremony with a decent sound system and lighting. The Norwood Concert Hall is located in the heart of Norwood Parade with many many shops surrounding this venue. We managed to find free on street parking close by. There were many carparks available too. There were parking restrictions everywhere, so read the signs correctly. Overall a great venue and a beautiful historic building.
Parking available by Foodland Shopping Centre. Basement,ground level,and First level Parking available. 2Hour free parking.

Lovely concert, although Mendelsohnn's Elijah is a bit heavy. Orchestra and soloists excellent, on a par with our Cape Town artistes. Norwood Town Hall is beautiful, but is looking very tired.... some TLC required.
