Brand new motorcycle rider and wanted a Triumph Street Triple. Gigi from sales answered all my questions, was responsive to my texts and calls, and was a pleasure to deal with. He has a passion for motorcycles and it shows. Bill the owner has cultivated a great team. I recommend a visit to see for yourself - tell them Peter S sent you. Thank you Northside Motorcycles!

True gents. Honest and know their stuff, priced reasonable as well, especially as they are a triumph list garage I was expecting a much higher quote but all in all very reasonable. I'm skeptical at best especially when dealing in an area I know little about like mechanics, no problem paying but find it hard to trust the job is done well but with these guys I never nothing but honesty and transparency. Highly recommend, cheers bill, nev and team!

So far as I'm concerned, Carl and the entire team at Northside are little short of bike gods! I bought my beautiful Ducati Monster 620ie in March 2004. The photo shows it in March 2019 - 15 years and 150,000 km later. Yeah, that's not a mistake - 150,000 km of pure fun. And in very large part the appearance and performance of the bike after all that time and distance was due to the brilliant support I always received from Northside. Nothing was ever too much trouble. They were always friendly, helpful, informative, honest and (seriously? a motorbike shop?) caring! They always went out of their way to help, be it quick fixes, major services, difficult diagnoses, strange requests ... pretty much anything I threw at them. Sadly, the Monster got trashed by a reversing 4x4 two weeks after the photo ... But even then Carl looked after every aspect of the insurance assessment and kept me informed with progress and outcomes. Thanks guys! Many hours of pure enjoyment, including some awesome weekend runs up the coast and over the mountains, were made possible by your passion and professionalism. Keep up the great work!

I had a very poor customer service experience at Northside Motorcycles. As a female I would not take my bike back here to avoid dealing with staff member, Jeremy, who spoke to me in a condescending manner and refused to let me speak to the Ducati specialist on site, on two occasions. Advising me that it was "not feasible", and that "he's a very busy man". NM Insisted I should pay for work done to the bike that I had not actually approved, nor agreed upon, and without being informed of any of the approximate costs involved before proceeding under their apparent presumption, that I should have known the costs. Despite being initially advised by a friendly staff member, that it was not an issue to store the bike on premise temporarily, after paying for their towing service. I then had this accommodation offer later retracted by NM, insinuating that they had done me a large favour. I was also quoted by Jeremy, for a spare Ducati key cut from existing key, the price of 250.00, plus 3 hours labour. As I was told that access to the immobiliser was necessary, despite having possession of an original key. Non-transparent communication around costs and scope. Suggest updating Jeremy's customer service skills. Other staff are helpful and professional.

The owner has great customer service skills, friendly and generous with sharing his knowledge. A very positive experience. I am not sure about the staff in the workshop if you are needing repairs. I had a leak in the top hose for the water to flush through from the engine to the radiator. The leak was occurring where the hose connects to the radiator. The invoice says "ran bike to temperature to check leaking found to be top hose and replaced". What was replaced was not specifically called out on the invoice - labour cost 202.50 and 29.89 for coolant premix and disposal of old coolant. The part is not listed on the invoice. I was told the hose clip was replaced. 1.5 months later the leak has got a lot worse where I would not be able to ride my bike. Coolant was spraying everywhere. I took my bike to a motorcycle workshop where I could watch the process and get involved. What we saw was that a hose clip had been fitted lower down on the hose to hold and connect it to the radiator. There is an imprint on the hose showing where the hose clip was placed originally. By moving the clip lower on the hose it sealed a split in the hose that was occurring. This temporarily solved the issue of the leak. An interim solution to a problem that just got worse. I have a new OEM hose on order from the UK as none are available in Australia for the make and model of my bike. In the meantime, we cut the hose where the split was occurring. There was enough hose left to attach and clamp with the hose clip. It took less than an hour to investigate, resolve, and flush new coolant through. My motorbike is no longer leaking and I can ride my bike until the new hose arrives. I don't know what else to say other than to be aware.

I've been riding bikes on and off for 35 years and I couldn't recommend Bill at Northside highly enough. My most recent purchase was a real bargain - the best in Oz for my particular bike. The whole deal was conducted professionally and in a friendly way. Bill, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with. It was well worth the 5 hour return trip from my place to pick up the bike. I'm stoked with it. The friendly staff even moved my car for me when a parking spot became available outside the shop. Thanks Bill for the service and a truly excellent deal from one very happy customer.
