The best organic foods in Tamworth. Almost every town has an old-time quirky shop which sells honest-to-goodness wholesome foods. In Tamworth, Northern Nuts & Treats, is that shop. Whether you're a visitor or a local, this is where you should start your weekly shop for basic and hard-to-find healthy foods. But don't just come to buy, if you need it, ask the proprietor for advice. His knowledge and experience is vast, costs nothing, but is priceless. Watch the shop hours though. He's not open much after 5pm mid-week and only open Saturday mornings in the lead up to Christmas. Lastly, beware of the chocolate coated products. They're very addictive and made from the finest chocolate around. I dare you. Just see if you can stop at one bag of chocolate coated almonds, coffee beans or ginger.
