Caught up with a few family friends on Sunday night When we arrived this place was fully booked in the front bar . The rain was pouring down 12outside But thanks to the team at this great establishment , they made sure were cosy and warm out in the back dining. Thanks to Rory and Julia Great food and a great hospitality . Highly recommend. Cheers guys

The atmosphere is lovely and the food drinks were incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed the environment and the seats we had. Only thing is I wish there were more vegetarian options or even vegetarian replacements for things
Another one of my and one of Melbourne's staples. Breaking it down, the Northcote is one of the main group of live music venues, comprising of standard front bar, various pub dining seating; with (under cover) beer deck and smoking section or the back. Separate band room with bar or back. The band room space is modest, so this is for a more 'intimate' gig. I could go on, but the Northcote does the standard stuff well. Finally, getting to / from is dead-easy with PT transport options. The #86 will drop you off (& pick you up) from right outside the front door. Love this place. Only regret: I discovered it so late. Great meeting place.

Bartender Doug is awesome, great laugh. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Great food, relaxed atmosphere, cool rock n roll vibe but still suitable for 76 year old mother in law. Needs more indie beer choices. Team member in burgundy LA Raiders T-shirt looked after us so we’ll as did whole team in back bar. But pls get more non CUB beers on tap (end of rant). First visit, loved it xx

Great food! Had the burger and the Parma. Outstanding. They also do kids fish/chicken and chips. Glad to have them reopen after the rough shutdown.
