I recently started basketball training for my son here at North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, which is home to the Norths Bears Basketball (Northern Suburbs Basketball Association Inc). There's about 25 kids in the group (4 to 8 year olds) with 3 adult coaches and 2 senior rep players assisting. So far I've found the training to be top notch, with the coaches focusing on the fundamentals and correcting kids on their technique. It's a fun environment for the kids, and also enjoyable for the parents to watch - highly recommend for beginners as they follow the Aussie Hoops program! The complex itself has 4 courts, the main court with a grandstand, including a cafe if you're feeling peckish. The courts are well maintained, clean and free from dust. The rings are standard height and adjustable for little ballers. The backboards are clear (not sure if it's tempered glass or acrylic) but they do have a shot clock within the backboard, and electronic scoreboards on each court. You can hire the courts (I've seen young adults and even seniors play) best to contact the centre for details on cost and availability.

Tucked away in the heart of crows nest this huge, quality venue has four courts to cater for basketball volleyball and most indoor sports. I even saw a 2yr olds group doing small play on the next court. Definately book for your next function. Oh and the staff were so helpful and friendly.

Well maintained sports centre. The basketball courts have electronic score boards. The place is always kept clean. I love playing here and I hope that NSBA doesn't get demolished!
