I just finished up the 10 week Ableton Music Production Course. I can honestly say it was the best thing I've ever done. Ive finished with a great understanding of Ableton and gone from struggling to navigate my way around to being able to get my ideas down quickly and sounding the way I want them. Jeremy was an incredible teacher. The other students were amazing too. Just an all round incredible experience with epic people. I would HIGHLY recommend this course, this school and this crew. Lab Six was an awesome experience, their new venue is fresh and polished and their lesson content is engaging and informative. Jeremy (Ableton Course Teacher) has so much passion for music and seeing his students progress, so as long as you have questions and are open to learn you'll get a lot out of it. Plus there's some wicked gear to play with mid way through. Thanks again and look forward to more courses and lessons down the track. P. S. Jeremy is also a Rubik's cube God.
Just finished the Music Production course with Jeremy and 12/10 would recommend to any and every person interested in production. as a Logic guy I never thought I would like Ableton but Jeremy won me over day 1️
I just finished the most amaaaaazing group course at Lab Six on everything Ableton and song composition/production. Jeremy was fun, super knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about music! I had no idea how to use Ableton when I started. Over the 10 weeks of lessons I feel like I've gained a real good overview of the basics but also an insight into some of the more advanced cool effects. Highly recommend!! :)
ONE OF THE BEST LEARNING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!!! It all went great for my mixing for the final piece as I had the best hand to help me being Jeremy Smith as he gave me as much advice as he could about recording mixes through Ableton Live 9.0 Suite. The rest of my experience was incredible as I had the best lecturer you could possibly ask for; Luke Chan, as he gave every bit of advice, knowledge and technique he possibly could in the space of time the course spanned in..! I got the best mix I could possibly get as the transitions came out perfect and enjoyed the best and worst of everything that's happened !!!!!! It was a great experience as I'll never forget it! Thanks again Jeremy and Luke for the incredible education and assistance you guys have given me...I'll thank you guys in the long run for sure!
10 outa 10 would recommend! If you are looking for a no bs jump start your music journey this course is what you need!! I just completed the ableton production course and I now have over 8 tracks i feel confident to release, My 2 instructors Jeremy and Drew are actual legends and always have the time to go down any random tangent you have questions about. Apart from that lab six gives a ton of support to there students through online communities where you can share your music and get good usable feedback from instructors and the wider community. So if you're thinking about a production course, Do this one!
I completed the Group Music Production Course in 2020, highly enjoyed the fast pace learning and the passion and enthusiasm of the instructors. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in learning Ableton! Thank you so much, I thoroughly enjoyed the course!
I used to be overwhelmed by Ableton programming but after the LabSix 10 Week Group Course I picked things up quickly and learnt all I need to know to lift off with music production! Jeremy is also an awesome tutor and everyone I’ve met there is super welcoming and friendly. The only thing I’d recommend for those considering to take the course is to make sure you have enough time outside the course dedicated to practicing with what you’ve learnt each week, so you get the most out of your learning experience. All round loved it!! Am keen to take another course in the future
