Secluded spot for watching nature in the heart of the city/suburbia. Not easy to access but worth it. Don't attempt the riverside walk after big rains.

The best time to view the flying foxes is around sundown, when the bats are awakening and preparing to fly out for the night. Stand on the footbridge and watch as they soar down the river and over your head. Breathtaking.
