Company claims they are only an eftpos processor however driver called them to get fare estimate. No mention was made of extra fee for pickup from airport by either the company or the driver. Processed cost of fare before informing me charge was extra on top of the fare I had been told he was processing. I have been mislead by both driver and the company. Will be seeking refund of my fare

After a long fare, driver was unwilling to accept CabCharge payment. Was told by the driver that the CabCharge system was down, and could not perform a manual payment of the card. I called CabCharge the following day and they confirmed that the CabCharge system was working fine. Called Live Taxi and they advised they don't accept cabcharge anymore. Don't know who to believe, such a dodgy industry. A drive from Melbourne Airport to the CBD cost me 73, when I could have caught the bus for 15. Do yourself a favour and download the Uber or Ola app. This is why the taxi industry's days are numbered. I will never catch a taxi again.
Has deducted money from my account for a Taxi fare I never used, Be afraid , be very afraid for you Cards
The sum of 82 dollars was deducted and I had not used any taxi for two years, and the problem is I was sleeping
UPDATE- The owner has refunded me the 20 as promised. He was genuinely apologetic. Really great outcome! Ive contacted the owner and he said he will refund my money as I was overcharged. I will update this review once I have recieved my money back. Was charged 70 for a 9 minute trip. The driver stopped me on my way to the taxi rink and asked if I was after a taxi. Once I got to the destination he charges me 70.
This is worst cab service ever! We were charged 70 from Darling Harbour to Sydney airport, which should be most around 40-45, it was off peak, no traffic. We took this Rydo cab from the taxi ranking in front of the hotel, we ask the driver if the rates and fees are the same as other cabs, the driver said ‘yes’. The driver cheat and lies all the ways!!!! When we question the charge, he tried to cover things and cheat all the ways. He took unnecessary long route to incur unnecessary fees and toll fees. My son later told me the meter was already 10 when we began. This is ridiculous, shame and unacceptable! Avoid this company! This company should not exist at all. Driver Id: 6943, taxi plate: T2529. I urge the company to rectify the overcharge immediately.
Absolute scam of a company. Wife caught a taxi from South Wharf to Port Melboure. Meter read 11.50 but was charged 125!! We noticed this the next day and after 7 phone calls to live taxi we still have not received the promised refund. I was told a refund would come a week ago and have not received anything. I have now reported this fraud to our bank, and will take it further to ensure noone else will get ripped off. Use uber people, at least that way everything is captured on your phone and its safer.
Used this live taxi Australia , west Melbourne from the airport , a black 2011 Toyota Camry ... the meter reading was 40 to Glenroy but was charge 54. Avoid these guys use Uber..
