I’ve been meaning the write this for a couple of months but I’ve been stuck in the new born love bubble with our 4th baby! Jini has delivered 3 of our 4 and we’ve had the works in terms of pregnancy and birth. pregnancy complications from the first trimester, a VBAC, a scheduled breech cesarean, an emergency cesarean, post birth surgeries and a baby in the nursery. Jini was there all the way, working with my husband and I together on the births we wanted and supporting and navigating us through the difficult times. I’ve never felt more secure, supported and heard. Over the years she became more like a member of our family than our doctor- but was easily able to change from role of support person to person in control of the situation. We also grew a great relationship with the women in her rooms- Leanne in particular.. we will miss seeing her smiling face!

Amazing gyno Dr Jini actually cares about her patients. She personally called me before an operation never had that treatment over the years. She’s trained with the best gyno we’re lucky to have her on the central coast.

I had a copper IUD placed 2 years ago. There was no consultation, she just said that the mirina is better and that i would probably regret having it. The placement was extremely painful which she told me to expect. There was zero post operative instruction given. I bled heavily for days after and contacted them as i was worried. They were quite dismissive, so i went to my GP who sent me for an ultrasound. I ended up having it removed after 7 months after having nothing but problems. I decided to try an IUD again at a different clinic and this is what made me realise how poor the treatment by Dr Mandapati was. At this new clinic, i had a nurse go through my medical history, check my vitals and discuss the options. I then had a consultstion with a doctor who went into detail about all of the different options. I then met a lovely anaesthetist who explained how the sedation would work. The placement was easy, i was given a booklet on my IUD as well as printed post operative instructions. This was all done in the one appointment. I had very light spotting that day and have since have zero issues. The clinic gave me a follow up call a few days after to make sure i was doing ok. It was cheaper me to have all of this done than it was to see Dr Mandapati who seems to just want to get you in and out and treats you like an inconvenience. Dr Mandapati could certainly learn a lot from this clinic. If you are looking at having an IUD, i would stay away from her.

Dr Jini is a wonderful obstetrician. She has been incredibly supportive and helpful all throughout my pregnancy. I feel very confident going into labour with Dr Jini as she has so much knowledge and is incredibly patient focused and I feel like she ensures me every time when I see her when it comes to my health and our baby. The ladies on the front desk are also very kind and supportive. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a professional and caring obstetrician.

While Dr Mandapati is well known for her obstetrics I had a gynaecology issue which Dr Mandapati helped me with. She was extremely professional, caring and considerate of my needs. Jini's caring and bubbly nature made me feel at ease and safe and knowing I was in good hands for my very first procedure was comforting. I would highly recommend Jini to anyone. She has a wonderful team of staff and I'm so grateful that I chose her to take care of me. Thank you ever so much Jini!!!
