I’ve wanted to try this place for so long... and I can tell you I waited too long. It really is a great place. It goes without saying that the cheese and cured meats are phenomenal. We also had the porchetta and mac and cheese which were excellent. If I am being honest, the place is probably best suited for a few drinks and nibbles instead of a full blown meal. We thought the “mains” would come out after the cheeses and meats but it all came out together which was a bit full on. Don’t get me wrong though, this isn’t a big problem! Just unexpected I guess.

I really enjoy this place. Booking is a good idea as seating is limited. Cheese selection along with meat and wine is good and varied. The wait staff have an excellent knowledge of the selections and will help you decide on what is best suited to your taste. I'd recommend a 3 cheese platter and a 2 meat platter per 2 people. Then add other sides as you want. We added the octopus and the cauliflower. We ordered additional bread as the amount that comes with the cheese and meat was just a bit short of what is needed for the cheese and meat. Cauliflower was a little bland and the accompaniments to the cheese were a little hard to eat. Seating is close together and so if you are looking for an intimate quiet dinner this is likely not the place as you are quite close to your neighbours. We spent 145 for 2 people with a cocktail each. I enjoyed it.

2nd time we have visited here. Enjoy our evenings here. Food tastes so good and flavoursome. Loved the new menu. Wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable of items on the menu. We always order way too much food.

Have been going to stinking bishops every now and then over the years and I'm disappointed to see the quality drop so much. The octopus was bland and had barely 2 olives as toppings for 30 bucks! The salad was basically just sweet lettuce and a couple of thin slices of beetroot for 22 bucks! The cheeses were great as they have always been but were definitely smaller proportions than before and the sides with the cheeses were notably fewer and poorly presented. The music inside is also terrible and the tables are far too close together. I get the feeling that the ownership has changed hands at some point, will only return for the cheese in the future.

What a great experience... simply fantastic! The stinking bishop is one of the places where time stands still! You enter, order cheese, cold meats and wine and start enjoying every moment: smell, taste, sounds, site... and time fly’s last! Love this place! Order the 4 cheese, 4 meets combo and a bottle of wine... ask for recommendations and the friendly staff will always help! Love this place!!!

Great selection of cured meats, it is a great place to have cheese, cured meats and wine. We also ordered the cauliflower mac n cheese and the beef cheek as main but I have to admit that it was too much to order. The cauliflower mac'n cheese was above it's game definitely worth trying, the beef cheek was good also but not amazing. Thus the 4 stars. The place was cozy and the service was nice. Definitely worth a visit if you're a fan of cheese and cured meat!

Absolutely everything about Stinking Bishops is what I hope for every time I visit. Great cheese, meat and wine. I'm pretty sure I've tried everything on the menu and always talk through cheese choices before making decisions. I've just had a great time each time I've been. Highly recommend.
