Love of God is here. Generosity of the people personified. All welcome, irrespective of gender, sexual choices, age, religion, language, nationality and background. Food is superb. Meal, salad, cakes, juices, tea, coffee, desserts, take away breads of several types. Variety of meals during the week. Times: 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday.

This church, despite being 150 years old, has the most amazing fresco ceiling - possible in Australia. An ultramodern interpretation of the Book of Revelation adorns the space above you. After 7 years of living here, I was glad that I decided to stumble in whilst walking down king street
Their soup kitchen (Jordan cafe) is now only available to those who get referrals from homless services. You must prove to the gate keeper, why you need the church's food. Be prepared to be preached at, while being given a small amount of expired ,and rotten food on a dirty plate. Avoid this place if you value your health.
The doors, whilst rather wide, are not very comfortable for sitting. On the other hand, it provide an excellent reprieve from vampires. 100% recommend for vampire hunters, bring your own stool!
It was lovely to be spiritually fed on Sunday by the word of God. Family and I were very pleased to be welcomed by members of the congregation and nice to be worshipping once again at home in Newtown Mission. God bless \u003c3
