If you’ve seen some of my other reviews you would have noticed I am a bit of a foodie. For me it’s about having a great gastronomic experience without having to take on a second mortgage. Kaiza Izakaya ticked the box for me. The dishes here are Japanese themed but with some unique twists that take them to the next level. We had a number of dishes which were explained to us by Jason, the passionate chef and owner of the establishment. The flavors and textures were amazing and combined with the way they were plated they would not be out of place in a fine dining establishment. Prices were very reasonable for what we got. Needless to say I was impressed and definitely recommend trying this establishment.

Jason and his team have created a wonderfully inspired Japanese fusion experience that is as unique as it is delicious. Many of the creative elements of each dish have a thoughtful story which I strongly encourage you to query as you explore your way through the menu. I particularly enjoyed the crispy eggplant and wagu nigiri. Looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu. Well done guys!
Really loved the food especially the Hokkaido scallops. The little unsuspecting flavour bomb really takes your taste buds to a whole new level. Kaiza has truly stepped into the game with a strong presence. Their ingenious flavour profiles yet humble atmosphere will have you dreaming about your next visit before you are even done. Go and take your taste buds to a special journey now, before people find this gem!!
This hidden gem located opposite the Enmore theatre absolutely blew me away. Kaiza is Japanese restaurant but has Vietnamese influences which surprisingly complimented each other perfectly. I would highly recommend the oysters and the Wagyu nigiri if you want to have an explosion of great flavours in a small bite size piece. This spot is perfect if you just want to have a quick snack or a full meal before a show. The quality of food is on par as other fine dining establishments but half the price. I would definitely come back here again
Great food, great presentation and friendly service. Was very impressed with the food. Highly recommended. Very different experience compared to all other Japanese restaurants I have tried before, well-worth trying. Will definitely come back.
Words can't describe how much I loved my experience at this beautiful restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Highlights were all the vegetable dishes , Wagyu， scallops and the beautiful sashimi. Our waiter was amazing and the service was quick and very professional and friendly. You will feel valuable and everything definitely worth it!

A new restaurant that deserves more attention. Kaiza Izakaya takes a unique spin on Japanese food with dishes to suit everyone's palette. Definitely recommend the Hokkaido Scallops and Sashimi Tartare.
