I got a nice book that changed my life this store that I accidentally found . I just thought it was a place to sell art supplies, but there were a lot of art books and picture books. I am just a traveler, but nice enough to want to visit this place again. Thank you for lovely store. I can’t forget the atmosphere in this place :)

Love the vibe of this shop. Cosy and full of an amazing range of art supplies. I selected my own starter set of Copic markers and quality blending card, and I was pleasantly surprised at the price. The place evokes that lovely thrill that no ‘big box’ retailer can match. I also overheard many helpful conversations between other customers and staff to demonstrate their caring bespoke service approach.
I visited Art on King after enquiring about buying a leather journal as a birthday gift. Lovely staff online and well as in-store with a beautiful selection of journals. Will definitely revisit when I have a lot of browsing time to spare.
Recently I purchased two hand-made journals (made by Pia) for a friend who recently lost her husband. I live in Katoomba and she resides in the Northern Beaches, but together, with the brilliant help from Richard, my friend and I got to experience a wonderful shopping experience, virtually, without leaving our homes. Richard spent a good amount of time photographing different books & emailing and talking me through the various qualities to select the right ones. It was hugely enjoyable for me & my friend, who called me the day the post arrived and together, over the phone, she unwrapped them. She couldn't have been happier, and neither could I.
