My two grandchildren had a fun week learning to surf - they haven’t stopped talking about the waves and being able to stand up on the first lesson and actually riding without falling to the shore by the last lesson. Isaac and Shannon were wonderful coaches and very professional but so enthusiastic. I would highly recommend Surfest Surf School and ‘money well spent’

My son attended surf camp last week and absolutely loved it despite wet and weedy conditions. He thinks Jack is an absolute legend! Thanks for making learning to surf so much fun!
My children enjoyed every moment of the program and have developed their surfing skills and confidence. The staff were so professional and encouraging.
Nobbys dished up some rough & tumble this morning, & we were unable to go out as far as we would have liked, to give us a good chance of standing up. However, perseverance eventually paid off, & just when I thought I had no energy left, a wave came along with my name on it, & I was up & away! I really enjoyed my lesson, & I liked that the land component of the lesson was kept short, to give us more time in the water to practise catching waves. Thank you Newcastle Surf School, I'll definitely be back for another hammering! \u200d️
My friend and I were nervous but the team was so lovely and our teacher Issac made us feel really comfortable so those nerves didn't last long. We had so much fun and cant wait to book in our next lesson! Highly recommend :)

Great way and easy to learn surfing, Cameron Was very good teacher experience he can make everything to be easily even it my first time, come and enjoy with great staff
Friendly crew, hired a board. Great beach, convenient location. However please note: there is only one outdoor shower station for the whole beach and NO male or female change rooms. Apparently Nobbys Beach was voted state winner of the Friendly Beach Award in 2008. Must be trying for the Un-friendly award in 2018!
