Our Mission > Advocate for ethical practices, behaviours and policy in tourism in the developing world > Facilitate community-driven projects by providing both human and financial resources > Promote and protect social justice, environment, freedom to fulfilment, sustainable development, mutually beneficial relationships and rights of workers Our Vision "Tourism has the ability to foster people-to-people understanding and hope, economic stimulus and development...a catalyst for cooperation and partnerships" - Becken & Carmignani, 2016 *Bali: Textiles Project is our first focus. We plan to expand to other developing nations tackling water, orphanage volunteerism and land rights. About Bali: Textiles Project > Bali receives over 800,000 tourists each year to an island only half the size of the Sydney area. The environmental and social impacts of such numbers are devastating. >Water pollution and depletion in Bali is one of the biggest obstacles to health, prosperity and sustainable futures for its people. * We support dye houses and batik factories to overcome financial and non-financial constraints that lead to cleaner water, sustainability, human rights and preservation of culture. How? *Corethics seeks out mutually beneficial relationships to help us achieve these goals through sponsorship, donations, partnerships and in-services. We coordinate efforts in Newcastle, Australia and deliver to beneficiaries in Bali, Indonesia. NOW RECRUITING! details via our website corethics.net/join click Volunteer for role particulars.
