The location of this resort is perfect. You can easily walk to Peppers/Shaka food truck/Scallywags/Roadrunner etc. Their entertainment room is great for kids and adults. The pool is at the perfect temperature. You can carry alcohol in plastic cups provided in the kitchen. The bus stop is also close by. There is a coin operated laundry machine and a small shop on the location to buy snack and coffee.

Lovely place in Nelly Bay, just by a bus stop. Nice pool area with BBQ, tennis court, hang out area with table tennis. Breakfast available (cereal and muffins) for 10, or there is a nice Cafe 200 metres away. Also nearby are a nice wine bar, restaurant, pharmacy and Food Works. Rooms are big and well equipped with kitchenette and dining table. Our room also had 5 beds! I've knocked off 1 star because we didn't like the fact that bathroom was not fully enclosed and therefore not fully private. Staff are very friendly and helpful too, making for a very pleasant stay.
Spent a lovely 5 nights here while exploring the island. Spacious, clean and quiet. Lovely pool area and games room withbooks, board games etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! Cannot fault it. Spotless, quiet, lovely spacious rooms, pool, tennis court, everything you need. Eileen is a lovely manager who goes out of her way to make sure you have a perfect stay. Highly recommended.
First impression - a gal at the front desk with a huge smile, twinkly eyes and the most welcoming vibe you can imagine. Meet Rachel, the Manager. Rachel is that type of person that makes you feel like she has all the time in the world for you. And she's lived on the island for years and is raising her kids there so she IS the person to ask about hidden gems, great walks, good eats. Her mum, Jenny, also works on site and the two of them go out of their way for their guests. The rooms are a good size and neat as a pin. The resort itself and the rooms are a bit dated and a little daggy. I personally found the beds and bedding a wee bit uncomfortable and the temperature from the AC was a bit inconsistent which made sleeping a little tricky for a hot sleeper like me but the pool was lovely (better than it looks in photos) and there was never anyone there and the location was brilliant and I would personally stay there over Peppers (which we stayed at for the last 4 days) any day of the week. If the rooms were refurbished and the grounds got a bit of a facelift (specifically, the astro turf) this would be the only hotel I would stay on when returning to Magnetic Island.
My Mum booked here knowing that she would be close as there was no availability in the hotel we were staying us as it was fully booked out we were visiting for a family event. The day she arrived her grandchildren were excited to see her, they rushed in to say hello my six year old got told to leave very rudely as their is a strict no Visitor policy. That manager was pointing her fingers at us talking about COVID restrictions to Melbourne nurse. Who does that??? stating it was outlined in an email she had sent. Talking to locals they warned us about how up tight were even BEFORE COVID, but we were willing to give it a chance. We were really upset actually devastated by the way we were treated and spoken to like children to the point of making my daughter cry, the manager has no people skills and doesn’t have compassion.
Great place to stay, our room was very cosy, we had a great time enjoying the pool, I will 100% recommend it if you are staying In Magnetic Island, great value for your money
