Well presented training with a knowledgeable trainer in Karla. This training does not come cheap, but is outweighed by the costly damages you could inflict on your boat, and your personal safety really has no price tag! I came away from the training with some excellent skills that will improve my boat handling with a high level of confidence, not inclusive, but it included boat handling, some knot tying, navigation and trip planning with helpful discussion on using some of the boating applications available. We enjoyed our time on the water with Karla and I am sure you will also.

Completed Exemption 38 training with Karla. The theory, practical training and assessment tasks were presented in an engaging, accessible and straightforward manner. Karla is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced with boating, safety and all of the associated regulations. Happy to recommend Nautical Training and Marine Services.

Spent an awesome day on the water with Karla The training was tailor made to suit my boating needs which include entering and exiting a lock system and even refuelling the boat in a safe manner .The pace of the course was relaxed but extremely informative same time What I enjoyed most was Karla’s calming tone when not everything went to plan during some manoeuvres My daughters will now be doing their combined boat and Jetski licence next, and we will as a family continue with updating our skills with Karla when it comes to all things boating Can’t recommend enough The Macleod Clan

My Wife and I were new to the gold coat and boating and asked Karla to do two days of training us on boating, navigating, and the waterways. Karla was absolutely fantastic from preparing the course before our trip showing us how to use our new 19ft Hurricane Canal Boat off loading off the pontoon to driving it back on Navigating us through the waterways and understanding the markers , tides, winds from Broadbeach to The spit, Curran Cove, Tipplers Passage to Jumpinpin with total calm professionalism and advise. The waterways are unbelievably beautiful and the beaches Karla showed us and we pulled up on were just fantastic. If You ever need the best training with the best trainer that makes learning fun and with a great sense of humour call Karla. It’s the best decision we ever made. Thank You Karla.
