Lack of communication. I enrolled in Cert 4 for community services and am only a week into the course, the teachers don’t keep in contact with me and am really unsure what to do with the course.

Poor. They don't get back to you until a week later. Teachers don't work there, they freelance so they don't even see what your seeing on your screen. Some questions are irrelevant to placement. Far too much expected from your placement supervisor. No videos or anything creative. Just a lot of reading and comprehension. Hard to get motivated. I lost a lot of my work too because their program didn't save even When I clicked on the save button.

I cannot express enough my level of disappointment and frustration with NCA. After enrolling into a course in January, there was a complete lack of communication from both staff and so-called trainers. I waited literally months for an appropriate response to my study questions and I got nothing - zero! My calls went unreturned, my emails ignored. When I eventually received a call back from “student engagement” and, after a lengthy discussion I was assured I would be withdrawn from the course with no further payments deducted from my account. So with the form filled out, email correspondence attached, it’s two weeks later and I’m still waiting for them to process the withdrawal. I was told it would take a couple of days! They cannot seem to support their students and they cannot keep consistency with basic communication. I would think long and carefully before enrolling with them.

In March I enrolled in a Certificate 4 in Disabilities with this college. The assigned tutors were hopeless, poor communication and a lack of understanding to the students needs. The course material provided was outdated handbooks scanned in and uploaded to a webpage that would not load to full screen. I have a visual impairment and require the work to be in PDF format, so I can run it through an audioreader program. As I couldn’t read the material, I was unable to pass my first units of the course ( which you need to pass everything 100% !). I asked for more time to complete the course. Instead I received an email issuing me with a termination of course. I have a degree a several diplomas I have achieved whilst studying online. This is a highly unprofessional organisation and should be investigated.

Good assessors and faculty to guide you and have a clear understanding during my time spent studying with the college.
