Tried the home delivery option tonight, even though I am not big on delivery of restaurant food. So it arrives on time as predicted by Uber eats, the food came in seperate containers as expected and was fished out on to plates. I had to reheat a few of the dishes as expected from delivery due to the lack of heating lamps in the delivery vehicle. The food survived surprisingly well, the chicken tasted as it does in the restaurant, my youngest was a bit disappointed by the meat balls for her dish and I did taste them and they were a bit on the soft side for a meatball, the vegetable pizza and trio of dips were quite good, the calamari suffered a bit in the travels but still quite edible and arancini was quite good . Overall this is the best home delivered restaurant meal to date. If only for a Ute with warming draws in the back (patent pending) then this would have been like dining out. Yes the meals were just poured on to the plate but the taste is key for in home dining, not all meals were captured during the photo session.
Great service, fast and efficient, good atmosphere, private function space if requested. Great menu with many options, welcoming of kids and families. Good location for parking and movies upstairs. Good group packages. Takeaway menu also
Decided to book in here for dinner and what a mistake. Firstly, service was awful with the waiter spilling a drink on the table and having no knowledge of portion size between entree and main sizes. Than had to wait over an hour for our mains to come out with no notice that our food may take longer as it was a busy night which is understandable. Once the food came, dishes tasted average and asked for steaks to be cooked medium rare however fillet Mignon steak was cooked well done with the bacon burnt on top. As we had already waited a long time for the main dishes, there was no point to ask them to cook them again. When settling the bill and explaining the issues, they offered to take only 15 off the bill. Definitely won’t be going to Luigi’s ever again.
Lovely venue with friendly staff. Did get a bit loud but was busy for dinner. Cocktails here are amazing. I had the Mango one which was the pretty much the Nectar of the gods. The chicken was okay, a bit dry but still very nice. The sauce and vegetables accompanying it were amazing. At the end of the day a good experience.
Always busy, so there's no secret here! Staff are friendly food is delicious. If you haven't visited here then it's a high priority to make a visit. I would suggest book your table! Thanks Luigi's.
I would highly reccomend Luigi's restaurant for lunch or dinner and for big functions as well. Today, we held our son's 21st birthday party at the restaurant and their service was faultless and the food was delicious and generous. They were easy to deal with and very accommodating. Thank you Rebecca and team for a most wonderful day.
Very good food and reasonably priced. Nice friendly staff and a nice open dining area. Very kid friendly with good kids menu and crayons to colour in the menu afterwards.
