Dr Pretorius was honestly amazing! My baby just turned 1and I still think about how easy he made my birth experience. I swapped over from FSH because I felt so Insafe. He was so kind and professional throughout the whole experience. His team are amazing. I ended up having my baby early and by C-Section but he was so in control I felt like myself and baby were in the best hands. Could not recommend enough. Would definitely go back if we fell pregnant again. Thanks Dr Pretorius’s ️ The Nazroo Family

A conservative, biased misogynist who apparently need to know my husband’s profession to understand what level to speak to me at. He insisted on charging me the full fee in spite of not being able to treat the exact thing I was referred for. I had to wait for 6 weeks whilst he already had my referral stating why I was there,without him advising prior. In his own words upon querying his bias, he said he was just a ‘conservative South African.’

Dr Pretorius was the perfect obstetrician for our first baby. His manner is so calm and reassuring. I had such a positive experience and a great delivery. I’ll be coming back to him for my second baby no question!

Dr Pretorius always made us feel at ease. Perfect bedside manner & genuinely loves what he does. Made our first experience so much fun with an extremely safe delivery, and made sure we were well- informed about everything throughout our whole journey. This is why we have chosen to have him deliver our second baby. A kind and gentle obstetrician, could not fault anything.

Dr Pretorius has delivered our 3 children at SJOG Muroch. Jacques has a good balance of doing what is best for baby and also what is best for mum. He is open to discussions to accommodate your birth plan and is patient and quite happy to wait and see how pregnancy and labour go. I also appreciate that if you ask him a question, he can be honest and give you his opinion. We saw a few different obstetricians before delivering our first baby with Jacques and we had such a pleasant experience that we have delivered all of our children with him.

Dr Pretorius was very professional but with a good sense of humour. He has great bedside manner and both me and my husband felt completely comfortable in our journey to becoming second time parents. I highly recommend Dr Pretorius to anyone seeking an Obstetrician.

The most outstanding service!! He delivered both my daughters and he made myself and my hubby feel secure and comfortable the whole time. He listens to what you want and makes sure you get what you need. He has a calm and friendly manner and his staff are lovely.
