this is a very convenient opportunity to stay comfortably in Mungo national Park! we stayed there for two nights after a long and lengthy journey-14600km across Australia, mostly in campsites. we had a good rest there and also managed to pack our bags and went straight from there to Melbourne airport. very good kitchen, lots of dishes, plenty of space for cooking, two large refrigerators. at the same time-only five rooms to stay. in the evening at the common table-a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I recommend booking this place in advance

This was a fantastic experience being clean, comfortable and unique. The facilities were perfect for cooking own meals, rooms comfortable and shower/bathrooms clean. The quarters are near the tourist information centre and Mungo Woolshed and there are excellent picnic/BBQ facilities here. The Mungo Lodge was near by and was a good option for meals and tours. I would highly recommend.

The Shearer's quarters are adjacent to the visitor centre and close to the old Mungo Woolshed. The rooms are booked and payed for in advance. Shared kitchen and dining area with fireplace. Outside is a nice barbeque area.
