I am extremely disappointed in your AFTER SALES SERVICE!! I bought a 10 year warranty luggage a year ago and not only the zipper already is broken BUT I have been emailing you for more than a month explaining ,y issue and showing you my receipt and nothing happened. I am leaving australia in 2 days to travel for 3 months!! I would never recommend to anyone buying one of your product. I spend good money in a product that I thought was high-quality and that you promise to repair or exchange if there was any problem and you haven't deliver! THANK YOU FOR nothing!
Made online order and after 5 days they told me their was a system error and order has not been shipped, still after five days no one knows where the order is
Samsonite does not even deserve this one star. I have never dealt with such a terrible company. I bought a bag and after 2 months the bag started breaking. i called Samsonite after eventually managed to get a reply where the client service explained that i could choose another bag. However this was not the bag i purchased and i wanted the same bag. That eventually was resolved and i was told that a new bag would be sent through to me that was 2 weeks ago. However when i inquired about the collection of the old bag they were very quick to reply. I explained that i would be happy for collection to be made once i received my new bag. I have tried to follow up and no response. I now have a broken bag and dont even know what is happening. I have to call and email and no response.
In November 2017 a recently purchased Samsonite carry on case whilst at the airport fell over bending the arms of the case. This made it very difficult to collapse the handles (almost inoperable) back into the case. In December 2017 I contacted Samsonite Australia who requested photos which I emailed. The next day I was promptly emailed asking for a pick up address for further assessment. At this point I was on the verge of a trip abroad So I informed Samsonite that I would readdress this in the new year when I returned. In early May 2018 I contacted Samsonite Australia to start the process again. 2 emails were sent before receiving a reply asking for my address. I then sent another 4 emails with my address until I got a reply that they were going to replace the case. So I then sent another 5 emails and several phone calls to follow that up and now in late September the issue is still not resolved. I was under the impression that when I was forking out the large price for Samsonite luggage that I was buying quality with service to back it up. Unfortunately reality appears to be otherwise. This is the very last time I buy a Samsonite product and I would never recommend this brand to anyone!
Really pushing it to even be given one star ! Bought a new samsonite earlier this year , it lost its wheels within 24 hr departure on my big European holiday , offer was made to send me new wheels in 10 days, abit difficult when you are travelling around Europe ! So 24:emails so far with the Sydney ‘ customer service team ‘ ( and I use that term lightly ) and 3 phone calls , since May , was promised a replacement several months ago , and still waiting . Now I don’t even get a reply to my emails ! Very frustrating, for a huge international company to ‘ cut you lose’ and treat their customers this way , after I have had four of their suitcases in the past . Best aftersales support! It’s great to know you’re not forgotten about as a customer after the sale. One of the wheels of my favorite suitcase malfunctioned, and I thought it was game over or a bodged DIY repair was required. However, after contacting the Aftersales Team they sourced me a new wheel and the suitcase has a new lease of life! Generally as a consumer, it’s (unfortunately) quite rare to receive great customer service like this these days from companies, but this is a top brand and support like this reinforces that. I’ll be sure to look at their products before all others for future luggage needs!
After one trip overseas my Samsonite firelite 700 suitcase fell apart. After numerous calls, numerous promises no one has collected bag or cared about fixing issues. Ria in particular promised return calls nothing. Very disappointing. As a regular traveller & family also we will not purchase Samsonite again.
