Bought ‘vegetable garden soil’ from them and they said it would be suitable for planting vegetables in it. We tested the soil’s pH and it is incredibly alkaline. Contacted the company and they didn’t seem concerned. We wanted to support a local business but we wish we went with Bunnings instead.

Used mini mix from Garden Gear twice. The first time we received what we paid for. The second time we were obviously the second delivery from a single batch which was old when it was delivered to us at the arranged time. Within half hour of delivery the mix was setting and unworkable. I am left with a job which I will need to patch with a screed and will never be as it should have been. This was not a hot day, low 20s. The delivered concrete was not fit for purpose. Do not use Garden Gear for mini mix concrete.
