Roast duck was good, not really gamey. Yangzhou rice serving was quite small. Sharkfin soup was fine but a bit salty. Hongkong Milk tea didn't have enough ice on it. But overall experience was good. Will be back.

This is the second time we've eaten at Mr Ping's and have been happy both times. The venue is neat and well presented. I love the design of the tea pot! I never realised pouring tea could be so pleasurable! We had a wonderful dining experience ordering Yangzhou styled Fried Rice, Hong Kong styled Beef Fillet and braided mushrooms. This took me back to my childhood, eating deliciously at large banquets during large family gatherings. I recommend having minimum 4 people so you can have a good variety of dishes to try. I was also impressed by the service of the wait staff. They were very helpful, polite and attentive to our needs. Even though English is clearly a second language, they were cheerful in their service and that communicated in ways that words cannot. Although it's quite a different offering to Chef's Gallery across the street (Chef's Gallery is more edgy in their dishes), I prefer Mr Ping's purely because of the warmer, friendlier vibe and more traditional feel (hit my soft spot). One piece of critical feedback from is to improve their pearl milk tea as it is bland.

Disappointed. Nice furnishings great position but service and food so ordinary . Staff seems unhappy and disinterested. Everything served with the very cheapest plastic cutlery. No one offered any table water ,no salt and pepper , no napkins and no soy sauce . Why are you even in business . These things are the real basics .

Quick service, average food. I ordered 2 items from the lunch menu to share. Fried rice noodles with pork and congee with lean pork and preserved egg. The fried rice noodles were quite salty, lacked a lot of the pork and was very tough. The congee was plain on its own but when paired with the pork and egg was a good combo. Our meals also came with a free lemon tea (was a bit average) and we were served green tea upon arrival. Overall, not the best experience but also not the worst.

Ordered the pork congee with preserved egg. Not the same as the advertisement but taste was alright.
