Stunning views across Townsville and surrounds. Definitely worth the shortish drive to the top. You can see Ross Dam and the airport, too!

Great lookout for sure. We did the scenic loop and I would not recommend that track to anyone. It's dangerous and can easily fall over as there is nothing to hold on to only grass or an odd small tree trunk. Just some sort of rail to help you along the way would help.

My grandson wanted to go for a drive in the clouds so we headed up to Mount Stuart lookout, normally you can see a beautiful view of Townsville from here , but being in the clouds today that was not to be, we got to see some of the wildlife instead..

View was amazing ! Well worth the drive up. The lookout is accessible for all, track around a little hairy without rails, but well worth the drive If you can see past the mob towers and power lines (we could) the view is spectacular !!

360 views of Townsville and surrounds from 580m above. 9km of winding tarmac to get there. A recommended drive, especially in a hire car.

After a long and winding trip up to Mt Stuart, the views of the city and Islands beyond is spectacular. A pleasant walk around the towers (watch your step), to see the views over towards Ross Dam are equally good.
