After a frustrating evening with my overlocker - I visited ‘Brisbane Sewing Centre’ this morning. The owner pulled out my machine and within minutes of me waiting, he had it fixed. The most pleasurable experience and fantastic service one could hope for. I recommend Brisbane Sewing Centre to anyone having sewing machine problems.

Definitely still in business! Sold me new blades for my ancient overlocker, hadn't been able to find them anywhere! Incredibly knowledgeable and gives you fair prices. Thank you so much!

Genuine and honest business. Not just looking to screw customers out of money and outstanding customer service.

Best service, advice, knowledge and customer care I have experienced in decades. We use Brisbane Sewing Centre for the past 7 years for the machines for our schools Visual Arts department sewing machines. He has given us first rate servicing on our machines as well as invaluable advice. Terry's knowledge is incredible and his regard for his customers is like no-one else. I would recommend Brisbane Sewing Centre any day of the week- thank you for years of excellent service and care. Cheers Shi

What this man doesn't know about sewing machines and over lockers isn't with knowing. He got me out of a muddle quick as a flash. I shall return.

The business owner repaired the initial problem but when I got home the bobbin winder did not work. I took it back and he fixed that but when I went to sew the tension was out and the original problem of not being able to raise the bobbin thread had returned. I called him and he told me to bring it back in. I told him I was not happy about having to return it a 2nd time and he abused me . When I told him not to lose his temper he hung up on me. I attempted to take it back to him as I had an important job to finish but he refused to fix it and gave me my money back from the original job. I was actually in tears from the whole experience.

Wish I could give 6/5 stars! These guys are real deal. Passionate, incredibly knowledgeable, honest, very good value, and funny! I will always make the drive across town to take my machines to these fellows. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO STORE FRONT ON LOGAN ROAD, you need to enter by the back road to find their workshop in the carpark behind the shops.

I am so pleased that I discovered this place. My little 40 plus Elna which up until earlier in the year had provided me with sterling service was repaired for a very reasonable price and is now sewing like a dream.
