Still learning about this place as theres so much to discover. We looked at Chalkys camping ground out of curiosity. It was so beautiful and had a lovely feeling. Open spaces with lots of pine trees and rocks. I felt I could stay all day and immerse myself into the forrest. I cant put words to how beautiful it was to be there.

Great place for a day trip, hike, or camping trip! Lots to see and do around the entire area. Can strongly recommend the Heysen Trail loop in the area (adding in a climb up Mt Crawford).

Beautiful setting! Lots of room. Feels like you're in the forest. Nice hikes. Campfires are a plus when fire ban isn't on.

Amazing place to come for a bushwalk or a picnic. Make a day of it. So many tracks to take, great parking spots. Amazing scenery definitely a must for the nature enthusiast!! Highly recommend for an adventure without leaving Adelaide - around an hour drive but definitely worth it.

Mount Crawford Forest is a great place to go exploring amongst the rows of pine trees with lots of great things to discover including fallen trees, birds, dead trees and lots of different types of mushrooms. Surrounded by all types of Australian fauna with gum trees & blackboys everywhere it has lots of great photography opportunities!
