The summit hike trail is quite overgrown this year. Long pants are a must as it begins as a narrow trail, and don't go on hot days as entry is not permitted on total fire ban days, they can fine you if you're very unlucky.

Brilliant forest, friendly rangers, lots of walks and if you’re keen for some orienteering there is a course there too. Both campgrounds are good, open and clean.
