Mark has just completed a landscape design for our large property in Mt Eliza. As there were numerous levels leading off the rear deck and a 15 deg large slope beyond this project required some creative and technical problem solving. Keeping the budget in mind and working with our landscaper Mark has reduced the levels ,connected the out door living space on the deck with the pool and turned a steep slope into a usable area. Mark has a passion for design ,is an effective communicator and shows an attention to detail .Mark also has a extensive knowledge of plants ,horticulture ,construction and design presentation skills. We are thrilled with Mark's design of our beach house garden.Using a space with slope and size constraints,Mark designed a great pool and garden area, which visually now looks much larger.The finished garden is modern, practical and has a 'wow' factor beyond what we envisaged.Mark also coordinated builders and the pool company (Swim Pools Co and Element Gardens) and was attentive to any follow up jobs and enquiries we had.
My wife and I used Mark to assist with developing a master plan concept for this relay tricky area of landscape in our backyard. We had been trying to work out what to do for about 3 yrs (whilst saving) and at the end of the day got nowhere and engaged Mark to design our landscape. It was money well spent as what we envisaged and what the design came back as was so much more thought out and better usage. I have no hesitation to work and use Mark again. Thanks heaps
Mark Travers was highly recommended to us when we were looking for a landscape architect to help us create a garden for our new build in Sorrento. The newly completed house stood out like a sore thumb, sitting atop a sloping block of sand! Mark's brief was to make the house sit well upon the land with plantings to reflect the abutting national park. In no time at all Mark came up with a plan that we were happy with and the work began on retaining walls, decks, driveway, pergolas, ramps, paths and gardens. The result was fabulous! Every visitor to our house compliments us on the garden and we love living amongst it. Mark created a clever, interesting design and almost all of the 700 odd plants survived! Like our friend, I would highly recommend Mark for your landscaping job.
Mark did an incredible job designing our landscaping for our new Martha Cove home with tough design overlays in place from the developer. He was open to our ideas and feedback from the landscaper on the practicality of the site and the end result was something spectacular. We could not be happier!
Hi Mark, Providing an opinion on your creative genius and what you achieved for us at Point Nepean Road is easy in some ways and challenging in others. The simple part is confirming how easy you were to work with, we enjoyed a fantastic working relationship with you over an extended period of time especially given it was a lengthy project and we feel that your opinions were always very considered and you were always willing to listen to our thoughts and preferences throughout. The harder part is explaining in a few words what a challenging site you were working with. A blank canvas sounds straightforward in many respects but given the overall size of the allotment (nearly an acre) and the difficult levels you had to contend with especially the significant slope to the lake, you did an admirable job. There were so many components to our garden and a few complexities that required considerable thought from you, to ensure the garden blended with the style of our home. We think you did an exceptional job and couldn’t recommend you more highly to prospective clients. We would be willing to chat to anyone in the future who was weighing up the benefits or otherwise of engaging your services. BUXTON PROJECTS Mark worked tirelessly on our Landscape Design for Delgany Ave, Portsea which was a very technical set-out. Not only was his communication effective his execution with delivery and overseeing the project through eased the pressure.
