Great firewood available in smaller sized pieces for our tiny combustion heater which we pick up rather than have delivered.
Greener than bob brown. Ok if burnt 50/50 with pine stud off cuts from work. Pays to cuts your own.
Delivered when they said, and absolutely lovely dry wood. Even took great care not to damage the tree on my driveway with the truck.
We have ordered form Firewood to U twice, and the first load was great. Good service, clean & dry timber, on-time delivery. Unfortunately the second load was terrible. It is so wet throughout that it won't burn cleanly and just smolders/goes out without producing much heat. In fact, if you cut it very small & put it on HOT coals you can actually hear the steam hissing out of the wood despite the fact we have a fully enclosed firebox. It is possible that the last load is 'unusual' but we certainly won't be purchasing again. That load (4m3) will need to be stacked for next season... waste of time and money. :-( I will note that we have reached out to the vendor... no response.
