Casa De Playa will always be my favorite restaurant! Mornington is indeed lucky to have Casa De Playa! It is I think one of the best restaurants in Mornington Peninsula without a doubt! Their wonderful staff, beautiful ambiance, and insanely delicious food make Casa De Playa the best of the best. I highly recommend Casa De Playa if you are in for some authentic Spanish dishes complete with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a nightcap.

Service was quick and friendly, which is always a good start. Milkshake was great, breakfast burger was delish. Coffee was to served over temperature. Whilst a little burnt, it was just what I needed.

Great food and surroundings. Unfortunately NO air-conditioning or fans, it must have been 40deg at the function.

I am happy that there is this really nice and homey Spanish restaurant in Mornington, Casa De Playa. I frequently visit the restaurant for its ambience and of course, the food. I love how simplistic but authentic their dishes are - very reminiscent of how the Spanish prepare their meals. It’s like I am transported back to Barcelona, a place that’s near and dear to my heart. For authentic Spanish dishes and ambiance, better visit Casa De Playa. You won’t regret it.

The food is not my style. But I like the people and the atmosphere there. Also mussels taste delicious.

Came here for a late lunch after a long day of appointments and needing a pick me up. Greeted by friendly staff and had a wide selection available when other places had closed their kitchen. Lifesaver!

Nice atmosphere, good latin music but at level 1 smells horrible, on my way to the restrooms a strong pi smell hit my nose and on the same corridor the waiters are passing bringing food from de kitchen... So disgusting and the toilets are also not very clean.

I booked to have dinner here in advance online. With the online bookings you are able to choose the area you sit in. I chose this restaurant because it was a special occasion and I thought it looked like it had great atmosphere. I booked to be seated on the terrace. On arrival, we were shown to our table which was at the front of the restaurant in the foyer. When I questioned this and explained a had booked the terrace, I was told that there was a function and we weren't able to have that area. Basically we booked in advance, but preference was given to a larger group. Don't make choosing your seating an option if you can't honour it.
