What an incredible music studio, when my miss8 got tired at times they were so accommodating to include some variety with other instruments, and flexible on make up lessons when kids were unwell. The showcases are a bonus. As parent of a highly anxious child I was so proud when she banged out her first solo performance, fully supported the entire way. ️ I've seen her confidence grow in the classroom since adding her music lessons and having some more performance experience. Definitely recommend without bias.

I attended Brisbane Music Studio from its early days with director Leah Bond as my teacher. I had lessons from year 7 to year 12, with Leah supporting me through my senior Music and Music Extension classes. Leah was more than a teacher, over the years she has became a dear friend and life mentor. Singing lessons were like magic, my mum would drop me off when I was in a foul mood after school and she would pick up this girl with a huge smile on her face. I am now delighted to send my own daughter to Brisbane Music Studio and see her lessons with Natalie have the same magic effect on her. She had her very first concert in December, was one of the smallest performers but thanks to Natalie's guidance and warmth our girl has developed so much more confidence and a huge love of music. Can't recommend BMS more! Leah and the team have built such a supportive, wonderful learning environment for the students and parents.

Wow! This place, its director (Leah Bond) and our singing teacher (Dana Musil) are world class! My daughter (Nikita) has been with BMS for just a few months. Nikita has wanted to learn how to sing for years and finally, I placed the call to BMS. Leah kindly accommodated our personal situation and flexed to meet our needs - so professional, kind and supportive. And then there is Nikita’s music teacher, Dana - The EXTRAORDINARY Dana!!!! An ex-Broadway performer/ singer/ actress - she is the most engaging, empowering, talented, lively, insightful and positive teacher you could ever ask for. Nikita always feels like ‘a million bucks’ after her lessons with Dana. I have watched a beautiful relationship develop between Nikita and Dana. Dana tailors her approach, explains things clearly, has all the tools and resources to enable goals to come to fruition and importantly, makes it fun and so enjoyable! Not only has Dana helped Nikita to to sing, she prepared and coached her within a very short time frame to perform at a local talent competition... and there is no doubt about it - Nikita won because of Dana! Late at night when we needed an urgent 3 minute version of a song, Dana was there for us, despite her already very long day at work (outstanding service which is so hard to find these days). We cannot thank Dana enough. What an amazing teacher, coach and expert in her field. If you don’t know where to start with your child, just call Leah and go from there. This studio and its staff rock!!!

I have been a student at Brisbane music studio for 3 years and have found a huge improvement in my voice and general performance. The teachers at BMS are very professional and friendly and have many techniques that can get the best out of their students while at the same time provide a warm, safe space to allow students to feel relaxed and able to reach their potential. I thoroughly recommend anyone and any age to train here. The school isn't just for school aged students, many adults train here and the staff tailor the training to suit. Overall great experience, great people.

Both myself and my children have had singing, guitar and piano lessons with Brisbane Music Studio for several years, and I can't recommend them highly enough. The studio is professional and modern, there is a nurturing, supportive atmosphere for all students, and the teachers are delightful. Having the opportunity to perform publicly twice a year is a huge benefit to the confidence of all students, young and old(er)!

Words cannot describe the professionalism and genuine interest the teachers at Brisbane Music Studio have shown my children and myself. I have had two children have singing lessons with the very talented Erin and Sarah and now my third child is about to undertake drum lessons with Matt. I have nothing but praise for the teachers for their motivation and inspiration. My daughter's genre is country music and both of her teachers, while not country singers embraced her passion and helped her become the country music performer she is today. The studio's mid year and end of year showcases are perfect for helping the students get their confidence to perform in front of a crowd but there is never any pressure for them to perform but in my case my children have loved it.
