Ordered a chicken katsu and saw that the chicken was still a bit undercooked. I took it back to let them know it was still kind of raw and the chef told me that it was supposed to be like that because it's a chicken thigh part. I've cooked chicken myself before and it's never like this raw. I don't want salmonella. Never coming back and don't recommend coming here.

Today we went and we ordered Tonkotsu pork and seafood spicy ramen . I am sorry to say that it didn't taste like ramen.

Reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Tonkotsu pork broth was tasty and delicious, Cha-shu melts in your mouth. I like the dipping that accompanied with the chicken karaage, it just compliments each other so well. Ramen noodles has the right firmness and texture for me. And yum! You got to love the ajitsuke egg which is cooked to perfection! Can’t wait to go back again.

First time at this stall despite coming frequently to coventry village for groceries. We would usually drive to freo (50 mins) when we crave for ramen. We decided to try this place out since it is only 20 mins drive. A homey feel to this restaurant, unpretentious and humble setting. The staff is friendly and warm. The food is awesome. We ordered the karrage chicken ramen with tonkotsu base (13.50) added a slice of char siew (2) ans bamboo shoots (1.50) and a black garlic char siew ramen with tonkotsu base (14.90). They were amazing! Char siew literally melts in your mouth, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the karrage chicken with their special mayo sauce was outstanding. Well done and keep this standard up. I highly recommend giving this place a try as the restaurant is at a corner which is easily missed as compared to Big mama or Duck duck bbq house.

Crown of Iron

Really nice homemade noodles here with a smooth texture; they really make an effort to bring an authentic Japanese flavour to their dishes. The broth has a delicate flavour, the chicken karaage is tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. I've tried the beef curry and it was very tender and flavoursome. Another good thing is the portion sizes which are large and good value in contrast to another Ramen place I tried which had small overpriced portions and blatant packet noodles! I've now been to Ramen Eki a couple of times now and fully intend to go again.
