Great help from Phil, also a lovely dog onsite. Recommended two great rackets to demo and as there was a delay getting the racket I chose delivered from supplier let me loan the respective demo fr an extended time. Really the only tennis shop worth visiting has everything you need and more.

Great range of tennis equipment
Dropped off two racquets to be restrung at Phil’s Strung Out in Moore Park. My only request was a specific colour of string which a staff member laid out in front of me. Upon collection, I was genuinely excited to meet Phil as I have worked on the ATP Tour and have been a coach for over 20 years. How disappointing it was... Phil was rude and didn’t acknowledge me with a greeting as I approached him, he took a phone call as I was paying the 70 dollars and I had to leave awkwardly without a receipt or goodbye. Had the job been done correctly, I would have overlooked his rudeness. Both racquets were strung with the wrong colour which isn’t a huge issue in itself. However, Phil failed to accept the fault. He showed me his booking order, which did not specify my request, suggesting somehow this was my issue. What’s worse, after an uncomfortable silence, he reluctantly asked me if I would like them restrung. He added, he had 60 other racquets to restring and it would take another three days, insinuating that I would go to the back of the line (for their mistake). My first one star review. Phil strikes out. Phil’s lack of customer service, professionalism and lack of accountability was surprising and has led to this poor review.
The staff were really nice and helpful for a couple of amateurs. Talked us through the options at the budget end of the scale, and didn't try to up-sell us on anything we didn't need. Will definitely come back for future needs.
